  I’m just a usual office plant. I hear, feel, understand people more than they believe. I listen to their conversation all the time. I would listen to my fellow plants conversation but sadly , the other ones were removed or died - less of CO2 and water I guess. It made me sad … but such is life. I guess I am the last one here, so let’s make this story count, as well.   I saw many people. Many who couldn’t say a word, many who was constantly looking at the CCTV, many, who took notes, many, who cursed once the signature pen was out of ink, many who was told to wait, many who was put on hold… but no one really saw me. I was just there, in the background, observing, silently.  Now they’re carrying me away. I can hardly breathe, my leaves are yellow, I know where I’m going, I will be dumped in the trash soon.   Új lakásba költözött. A város fényei szelíden terültek alá. Az este fülledt volt, ablakot nem lehetett nyitni. A szentjánosbogarak így is az abból kiszűrődő fényért vetekedtek. Lüktető homlokát az ablaknak támasztotta. Forróság volt. Kint és bent is. A szívében is forróság volt. Hát mégiscsak eljött hozzá, pedig nem is számított rá.  - Melyik szobában akarsz aludni? – mintha nem tudná, úgy kérdezte. A régi lakásban csak egy szoba volt, egy nagy ággyal, „királyi ággyal”, ahogy mondani szokták. Az új, sokkal modernebb lakás szinte teljesen be volt rendezve: két szoba, konyha, egy nagy ágy és egy kihúzható kanapé. Azon ült az „ismerős”.  - Mit gondolsz? – s mosolyra húzta a száját. Elnevették magukat.  - Szóval, megint szeretnéd a kezemet fogni álmodban? – kérdezte ismét az, aki az ablaknál állt. Nem jött válasz, csak egy nagy kortyolás hangja. Teát ittak, a kedvencét, jázminteát mézzel. Ahogy odanézett rá, látta, hogy elpirult, ez megmosolyogtatta. Kevés dolog ...

It was this magical computer – people still get stuck with the name “computer” even though it was nothing like that anymore. It was a slim tablet that immediately took form of a hand once it was touched. “There was nothing more comfortable on the Earth than this” – said so the slogan. Even when it was in BETA version, people started to use it already – despite the warning of the medicinal company and other renown scientists. How cool is that! why don’t they want us to use it? – these and such exclamations could be heard once it was out on the market. Indeed, it was cool.
